One of my closest friends Caitlin and I are going to start a fun project together and I thought I would share a little about it with all of you 🙂

Cait and I met sophomore year of college in the graphic design program and clicked INSTANTLY. It was really fun for me to have a friend in design right away because like elementary school I knew I would have someone to sit by and talk to. I felt like I had known her my whole life, in fact I don’t think I’ve ever become such good friends with someone in such a short amount of time. We did everything together and she made going to class something for me to look forward to! We have totally different styles and are very different yet we are also so alike. We love shopping, going for walks, MOVIES, eating (haha mexican food, candy and ice-cream 🙂 hehe) taking road trips to Madison and much more. We became pen pals in a way when she left for Rome for a semester but we still stayed very close. Among many things Cait and I share a passion for photography. We often went out together and shot photos and I think our photos was one of the things that really connected us. I had to say goodbye as Cait left to be a graphic designer for Disney and it was a VERY hard goodbye. Although she’s miles and miles away we still keep in touch and email on a weekly basis. Caitlin came up with this amazing idea for us to do a project together and I think its going to be so much fun and probably one of the best ideas ever!

Starting on Sep. 1st we are each going to take a photo every day. These aren’t going to be the typical photos we both love to take (aka people shots) but more artistic photos that represent that day. Whether its of a great book, a photo of the beach, the leaves changing colors or itty bitty baby toes we are going to capture the day in a photograph! We are hoping to do this for a year and put together a book. Each spread will represent a day, one of our photos will be on the left and the other person’s photo will be on the right. We will pick a word each day that describes how we’re feeling or an emotion from the photo. Together we will make this book and will be able to see how we related to one another each day. Although we’re far away from one another these photos will be a way for us to be together. Our book will be titled: Separately Connected
