Life has become quite busy these days…. Lots of wedding planning (only 2 months away ah!!) Andy and I just moved into a townhouse, I’ve been working on a handful of freelance projects, working full time at Sofia’s and photoshoot season has begun! At the end of May, Andy and I were able to escape for 5 days with his mom, sister and twin brother Tim to California to visit Tim’s girlfriend Heidi! Tim and Heidi have been dating for just about as long as Andy and I have been however almost all of their relationship has been long distance (impressive huh?!)… we all attended Heidi’s graduation from Biola University and spent time with her family in L.A, San Diego, Hollywood and Laguna Beach. The best part about this whole vacation…. We all knew that as soon as we would leave CA and fly home to Minnesota, Tim would be proposing to Heidi on Catalina Island (It was on her bucket list to go there)… now we have yet to hear the whole story but so far we know it went better than planned and she said YES!! Now this means not only are both the Gerten boys engaged but I get yet another sister! Also for all of you have been asking… no we are not having a conjoined wedding hahah

Minus almost drowning in the ocean (and future husband saving me…brownie points!) I loved California and had so much fun! One of my favorite memories… well that would have to be driving through beverly hills. Why you ask? Besides the gorgeous houses and twisty roads with the most perfect landscaping… I happened to look up Jennifer Aniston’s address. I don’t really get too star struck… I think it would be cool to see a celebrity (and I have) but I think I can stay pretty calm, cool and collected…. Andy and Tim however, not so much. These boys are both OBSESSED with J.A. and when I told them I looked up her address and we were only 2 miles away they both almost had heart failure. Now I filmed our drive to her house and got the funniest creepiest reactions from the boys (but both claim they would kill me if I posted) so instead I’ll just TELL you how it went down 🙂 Andy and Tim were in the driver seat and passenger seat and were searching every house number in sight, freaking out more and more the closer we got…. as we were houses away we soon realized there would be no way to see ANYTHING (haha shocker right?!? a celeb with security… no way!!) however the video catches them saying things like “jenniferrrrrrr…….come out come out wherever you are!!!” “Andy lets get out and you can get on my shoulders and tell me if you see anything!!” “Lets take a picture next to the curb!” “Maybe we should put something in her mailbox!” lol these boys dont sound like the typical celeb stalkers at all!!!

Of course I wanted to share some photos from the trip but most of all I just want to say congrats Heidi on graduating and congrats to my brother Tim and his FIANCE on their engagement! LOVE YOU GUYS!!!
