My Pregnancy with Sailor

A big thanks to Alex Fleming for my maternity photos!

Total weight gain: 10 lbs (but was down 4 pounds at last appointment)

Stretch Marks? For awhile I only had them on my legs and hips but around week 37 I started getting a little around my belly button.

Sleep: Besides waking up to go to the bathroom a million times every night I slept like a rock! Also my pregnancy pillow may have been one of my favorite items while I was pregnant… amazing!

Best moment: Well I LOVED finding out we were having a girl and watching the little lady move around on the 4D ultrasound but It was really exciting for me when Andy was able to feel her move

Miss Anything? I did miss getting to have a drink now and then but it really wasn’t that big of a deal as i’ve never been a huger drinker. I would say I mostly missed being able to put on my own shoes and there were a few occasions I couldn’t get into the car because of a tight fit haha so that was kind of funny embarrassing

Movement: I felt S move throughout the day but it was always right around 8 or 9pm that she would be kicking like crazy!

Food cravings: I may or may not have eaten crushed ice all day every day… I would say Ice was my main craving but Milk was right up there as I didn’t even really like it before I was pregnant and somehow Sailor turned me into a huge milk fan! I craved many things on many occasions but I think the majority was citrus foods.

Anything making you queasy or sick: I couldn’t eat Chinese food my entire pregnancy

Symptoms: Acid Reflux, Sciatic Nerve Pain, a little bit of heartburn, Gestational Diabetes, high blood pressure the last few weeks.

Belly Button in or out? Out.

Wedding rings on or off? On. My ankles were swollen a few times but that’s about it!
